On 23 December 2025, the Ministry of Social Policy, Demography and Youth, within the framework of the Social Insurance Administration Project supported by the World Bank, held an informative meeting dedicated to the piloting process of the disability assessment system, in accordance with the Law on the Disability Assessment System.
The purpose of the meeting was to inform relevant stakeholders about the activities implemented by the Ministry within the pilot phase, as well as to present the Draft National Methodology for Disability Assessment and its practical application.
During the meeting, key aspects of the piloting process were presented, including the role of the competent institutions and the importance of involving persons with disabilities and their organization’s. Participants actively contributed to the discussion with questions, comments and suggestions, which will be considered in the further development of the system.
